Default Great help from Hearns Hobbies - Melbourne

Just thought I'd give a positive word. I buy quite a bit of ply, pacific balsa, parts and other bits and pieces from Hearns. They've always been friendly and very helpful. I've got a bit of an issue filling some new legs to my bf109 and one of the guys spent a solid half hour with me working it out yesterday.
Still need a 3.5mm solid rod. The hollow one I got caved in when used. Also the oleo pin hole is 4.93mm and the shim 5.04mm. I'm working on smoothing out the two. Never easy is it.

I got the 3.5mm rod from Andrews Scale Models in Croyden (and finished the job). Also generally pretty friendly and helpful. Andrew is stocking FMS models now to which have tempted me. These days I have a good stock of parts though and I only need the frame. ARFs are what I'm looking for so I can modify and fit out to my hearts content fit for my intention of how I'm going flying it. So many unPNFix models require work.

I didn't know they still existed. Are they still at Flinders St station in the basement?

Yep. Same place as 50 years or something ago. I'm sure its changed hands many times but the name, place and theme for the stock is the same
